About Danielle
Experience shaped by care, culture and community
My approach to consultancy has been shaped by almost two decades of experience across social care, community services and leadership.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting services to create environments where people feel safe, understood and able to thrive. My professional journey began within homelessness, housing, substance misuse and adult services, where I supported people experiencing multiple disadvantages and complex needs. During this time, I developed outreach services, supported teams through change and contributed to wider conversations around social policy, including attending meetings with Welsh Government to share frontline experience and perspectives for policy reform.
For the past eight years, I have worked within children's residential care, holding leadership roles supporting teams and services working with children and young people with complex needs.
My experience includes:
-
Developing and supporting residential teams
-
Leading cultural change within services
-
Supporting homes through transitions into regulated environments
-
Strengthening quality and practice
-
Designing and delivering workforce training
-
Supporting practitioners to develop confidence and consistency
I am a Registered Children's Residential Care Manager with Social Care Wales and hold a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care. Alongside my professional practice, I am currently studying an MA in Music Therapy, further exploring the relationship between trauma, regulation, connection and wellbeing.
My work with sound, rhythm and resonance has also deeply influenced the way I understand care and connection. Through my practice as a sound healing practitioner, I have explored how rhythm, attunement and presence influence our relationship with ourselves, each other and the environments we create.
This exploration has shaped my belief that organisations, like people, have their own rhythms, patterns of communication, relationships and culture that influence how people experience care.
The Rhythm of Care™ framework brings together my experience in social care leadership, quality improvement and trauma-informed practice with my exploration of sound, rhythm and connection.
It reflects my belief that meaningful change is created not only through systems and processes, but through the everyday moments, relationships and environments that shape people’s experiences.
Because quality isn't just measured. It's felt.
